Paper Shredding Event

Wilsonville residents are invited to drop sensitive paper documents for secure, immediate on-site shredding at the City's annual Shred Day event on Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 am-2 pm*.  (*this event could end sooner if trucks are filled to capacity). 

The City is partnering with Shred Northwest to provide this annual service for residents and small businesses at no charge; proof of residency is required. In lieu of a drop fee, the City is asking participants to bring cash or check donations to Wilsonville Community Sharing to aid the local non-profit/food bank in its work to provide social services to community members in need. 

Generally, event organizers won't limit the size of individual loads, although unusually large commercial loads may be asked to return later the day. Because of limited truck capacity, we want to be sure that everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity. Last year, residents securely dropped nearly seven tons of paper at this event. 

Upon entering City Hall parking lot, customers will be directed to the disposal area; car occupants and must remain in vehicles until instructed to empty materials into bins. All materials are shredded on site.
